Artifacts: what your agent can make in onecell
Diagrams, charts, timelines, decisions, tables, diffs and small interactive tools, made by your agent as real blocks you can read, edit, search and share.
In onecell your agent doesn't only write text. It builds artifacts: a diagram, a chart, a timeline, a decision, a small calculator. Each one is a real block, not a picture of one, so you can read it, edit it, search it, and share it like anything else. Every example on this page is a live block, using a made-up invoicing app called Tally.
Diagrams
Flows, architecture, sequences and states, drawn from text, so the agent can update them later. Ask: “Diagram how an invoice gets paid.”

Bar, line and pie charts from numbers your agent found or worked out, with a caption that says where they came from. Ask: “Chart invoices paid on time by month.”
Invoices paid on time
- Without reminders
- With reminders
View data
| Month | Without reminders | With reminders |
|---|---|---|
| May | 61% | 74% |
| June | 59% | 78% |
| July | 63% | 81% |
| August | 60% | 83% |
Headline numbers
The three or four numbers that matter, at the top of a brief or a report. Ask: “Start with the headline numbers.”
- Paying accounts
- 2,310
- Good: +6%
- Average days to paid
- 18
- Good: −4
- Failed payments
- 3.1%
- Bad: +0.4
Timelines
What happened, in order: incidents, project history, a changelog. Ask: “Write the outage as a timeline.”
- 09:04
Bad: A deploy restarts the worker mid-run
- 09:06
Bad: Reminders go out a second time
- 09:51
Good: Reminders paused
- 11:20
Good: Apology sent to affected accounts
Decisions
The question, the context, the call and what it commits you to. It starts as proposed; when someone accepts it, onecell records who and when. Your agent can list every open one. Ask: “Record that as a proposed decision.”
Tables, steps and checklists
Comparisons, how-tos and to-dos, as structure rather than text that looks like it. Ask: “Compare the three options in a table”, “turn that into steps”, “make a checklist of what's left”.
| Option | Effort | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| Keep the cron script | None | Sends twice on a restart |
| Lock the cron run | Small | A stuck lock stops all reminders |
| Move to the job queue | Medium | Lowest, with one key per reminder |
- Done: Deploy the queue in dry-run mode
- Compare its log with the cron script's for two days
- Switch the cron script off
Changes
A before-and-after of code, config or copy, with the differences drawn for you. Ask: “Show the fix as a diff.”
for (const r of due) {
Added: const key = `${r.invoiceId}:${r.number}`;
Added: if (await alreadySent(key)) continue;
await sendReminder(r);
Added: await markSent(key);
}
Formulas
Maths written properly, for models, pricing and research. Ask: “Write the late fee as a formula.”
Small interactive tools
A calculator or a small simulation readers can try, run in a sealed-off frame with no network. On public pages it waits until a reader clicks Run. Ask: “Make a calculator for the late fee.” Interactive blocks are rolling out cluster by cluster.
And the rest

Why blocks, not pictures
- They stay editable. Ask for the chart with September added and the agent changes the numbers, not a screenshot.
- They are searchable. Captions, table cells and decisions are all found by search, and cited by cell, heading and passage.
- They travel. Publish the page, share it with a link, embed it in another document, or let an agent read it as Markdown.
- They keep history. Every change is a version, with who made it.
