Privacy
onecell is a product of 32 Boroughs. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and how to reach us about your data.
What we collect
- Waitlist. Your email, and if you give them, your name, team size and the AI tools you use.
- Your account. Your email, name, password (passed to our sign-in provider, which stores it hashed; we never store it ourselves), the clusters and cells you belong to, and who invited you.
- Your content. The pages, files, memory facts and comments you or your connected agents save, with their version history.
- Connections. API keys and app connections you create. We store only a hash of each key, plus when it was last used.
- Usage. Pages visited, features used, errors, and basic device and browser details. During early access we also record sessions to find what is confusing or broken. Form fields, emails and page content are masked in those recordings.
How we use it
- To run onecell: sign you in, store and search your work, and share it only with the people and agents you allow.
- To send email you need: invitations, share notices, password resets, and your waitlist invite, plus occasional onecell updates if you joined the waitlist.
- To fix problems and improve the product.
We don’t sell your data, show you ads, or use your content to train AI models.
Who processes it
These services handle data for us, only to provide onecell:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting and database (United States), and email delivery (Amazon SES).
- Cloudflare: network, security, and file storage (R2).
- Supabase: sign-in with email and password.
- OpenAI: turns the text of your pages into search vectors, so search can match meaning.
- Anthropic: suggests short names for groups of pages on a cell’s map, from their titles and summaries.
- PostHog: product analytics, error reports and session recordings.
Agents you connect to onecell (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) read and write what you let them. What they do with it is covered by their own terms.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in. PostHog uses a cookie and local storage to tell visits apart. There are no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Your content stays until you delete it. A deleted cell can be restored from Deleted cells for a while, then it is removed for good. When you close your account, or ask us to remove your waitlist entry, we delete that data, except where we must keep records by law.
Your choices
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it you can change in onecell itself. For anything else, including a copy of your data or deleting your account, email us and we will answer within 30 days. To stop waitlist emails, reply to any of them.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above.
